Since 1973 the State Government contribution towards the Foundation was Rs. 2 lakhs. From time to time the State Government has enhanced the State's Contribution towards the Foundation and now it enhanced to Rs. 150 lakhs.
The Scheme of Assistance i.e. 1) Donation of Books, 2) Cupboard/racks, T.V. cum V.C.P. 4) State Level Seminar/Workshops, 5) Extension or Construction of building, 6) Mobile Library Services- Cycle Rickshaw, Trunks, Bags, etc. under matching scheme and the scheme of assistance i.e. for 1) Children’s Corner, 2) The construction or extension of building, purchase of books and furniture, 3) Celebration of Centenary Year and 4) Development of children's women's, neo-liferate's, senior citizen's section etc. under the non-matching scheme of Raja Rammohun Roy Library Foundation, Kolkata are being implemented effectively and efficiently in the State.
